My name is Micah and I’ve had a knack for creativity for as long as I can remember. As a kid I was always making something. Whether I was drawing, building with construction paper, painting, or sewing, I learned to obsess over details most people wouldn’t notice. That instinct never went away. It just grew into a career.

What drives me as a designer is the belief that good work starts with a good idea. I’m most energized by projects that have a clear sense of purpose behind them. Projects where design isn’t just decoration, but every detail is helping to tell a story or solve a problem. Whether I’m developing a brand from scratch or working within an existing system, I bring a concept-first approach and a genuine commitment to getting the details right.

Outside of design, I’m an avid runner and former NCAA DII cross country and track athlete (since then I also ran the 2023 Boston Marathon and finished in the top 3%). I enjoy knitting, reading classic novels (Steinbeck’s East of Eden is my favorite), watching musicals, cooking new recipes, and spending time with friends.​

I’m drawn to work that is purposeful, craft-driven, and made by people who genuinely care about what they’re building. Though currently based in Ohio, I’m planning to move to New York this October and am excited to build connections in the city.
